To be passionate worshippers of God, honouring and glorifying Him, and revealing the redemptive work of Christ Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit.
- To proclaim in word and action the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, leading those who repent and believe in Him for salvation into membership in His church.
- To proclaim in word and action the sole Lordship of Jesus Christ in the lives of its members, and to seek to fulfil His purpose in the life of the community, the nation and the world.
- To instruct people of all ages in the Word of God and its implications in daily living.
- To encourage members to assemble in regular worship of God.
- To support the work of the wider fellowship of Baptists through the South Australian Baptist Union, the Baptist Union of Australia, the Baptist World Alliance and to support the work of other Christian organisations.
